If you pinch Roger and Valerie they might just wake up from a dream that has taken them from the southeast of England to the south of France and across the other side of the world to a one and a half acre haven close to Whangarei in New Zealand.

"Our dreams came true and we moved here in September 2005 - we just love it!" says Valerie.

Today Brantome Villa, named after the town in France where their dream began, is a proud testament to the love and care the couple have put into creating their dream. Sitting proudly overlooking park-like gardens and a picturesque lake, the luxury boutique b&b has been completely refurbished by its new owners.

Three luxury accommodation suites offer guests the ultimate in privacy and comfort in a peaceful setting.

"We’ve had people flying in by helicopter and that shows how private they want to be," says Roger.

"We just love meeting people - fantastic people from all over the world. Our guests' comfort is our priority."
